The trans registered sex offender and wanted fugitive over two women's changing room indecent exposure incidents in Los Angeles, including the infamous Wi Spa incident defended by Antifa, has been arrested. Darren A. Merager had been on the run since September 2021 after my reporting first revealed in the New York Post that a suspect had been charged over the June 2021 Wi Spa incident.
At the time, the incident was called a hoax by left-wing media and trans activists. Viral video recorded by a woman at the spa on June 23, 2021 showed her complaining angrily to staff that a man had exposed his penis in the women's section. (I am not reporting out her real name because she is being treated as one of the victims in the case by law enforcement.) Antifa even violently assaulted protesters and law enforcement at two Wi Spa riots in support of the trans suspect.
In my follow-up reporting, I detailed Merager's past sex crimes history that made her become a registered sex offender in California.
Though a biological male, Merager legally changed her sex to female under California's self-identification law. However, Merager is currently being held in a men's inmate facility on felony charges stemming from two open cases, one involving Wi Spa and the other a women's locker room at a swimming pool in Hollywood. Merager's bail is set at $350k and her first court appearance is scheduled on Dec. 30.
