Dallas Police arrested a black male suspect who is accused of being the gunman in a shocking suspected hate-crime shooting on an Asian hair salon that injured three Korean women on May 11, 2022. The FBI has opened a hate crime investigation into the spontaneous attack.
Jeremy Theron Smith, 36, has been charged with three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. According to the arrest narrative, Smith's girlfriend told police he "has had near panic attacks when he is around anyone of Asian descent" due to bad experiences with Asian people. Much of the reporting about the gunman in the days after the shooter omitted descriptions of the gunman.
TikTok star HaileeBoBailee and her family were suddenly attacked by Antifa in downtown Portland after July 4 celebrations. On July 4, 2022, around a hundred Antifa militants gathered in downtown to burn U.S. flags and attack people, drivers and businesses. Antifa smashed up the World Trade Center among many other buildings. Police were unable or unwilling to stop the riot.
Overnight on July 1, Antifa in Portland carried out another violent attack on the public that was pre-announced on Twitter. Portland Police made no arrests but declared an unlawful assembly as the mob in black smashed up a building. They then attacked a female photographer from the Oregonian before rushing at another camera woman and sucker-punching her. This is the fifth riot in Portland by Antifa since Roe v Wade was struck down by the U.S. Supreme Court on June 24. Portland Police made no arrests at any of the violent protests. I am uploading my podcast episodes here after SoundCloud banned (then unbanned) me. Many of you may not have heard my 2019–20 podcast episodes from "Things You Should Ngo." Here is my interview with Brendan O'Neill about the weaponization of political correctness. It was first uploaded in September 2019.
The New York Post has published the previously unreleased surveillance video of Antifa hunting me down and beating me when I returned to Portland in May 2021. The Portland Police did not interview those identified as participants that night. The Multnomah County District Attorney's Office under Mike Schmidt did not press any charges. Antifa falsely claimed I faked the incident. https://nypost.com/2022/02/06/antifa-almost-killed-me-but-i-wont-stop-reporting-their-dangerous-deeds/
Antifa tried to get my book banned last year. They then stalked and beat me in Portland to prevent me from writing the updates in "Unmasked." The new paperback edition of the NYT bestseller is out now: https://www.centerstreet.com/titles/andy-ngo/unmasked/9781546059578/
